Your host at Glen Lodge luxury bed and breakfast is Meryl. Meryl loves to cook and will set you up with a breakfast to see you through the morning and beyond. All our food is locally sourced and organically grown wherever possible. An ex-pat American, having bed and breakfast guests to cook for is her idea of the best way to indulge one of her greatest passions which is creating food for people to enjoy!
At Glen Lodge luxury bed & breakfast alternative diets (vegans, vegetarians, diabetics, etc) can be catered for and we offer more than the average B & B breakfast. You can choose from the traditional full English, waffles, pancakes, muffins, soufflés and other baked goodies. Home-made jams (using organic fruit from our own orchards of plums, damsons and apples) and marmalades are a speciality of Glen Lodge luxury bed and breakfast.
If you are preparing for a long day, we can provide you with packed lunches on request. When you arrive back, you can relax and enjoy afternoon tea brought to you in the dining room, library or on the deck.
